Ingredients
Pottukadala/Gram dal-1cup
Sugar-1/2cup
Ghee-1/4cup
Cashew nuts-10
Cardamom-2
Milk-1tbsp (opt)
Method
Roast one cup of gram dal until the raw smell goes..
In a blender add sugar along with cardamom seeds and make a fine power ..
Make fine powder of roasted gram (after cooling down)..
Take one table spoon of ghee and roast crushed cashew nuts ..
Mix powdered sugar and gram flour along with cashew nuts ..
Heat remaining ghee and slowly pour this to the mixture and mix thoroughly …
Slowly roll them using your hand to make lemon- sized small balls.
Be little patient to get them rolled without breaking..
So the delicious Maladu is ready with in no time ..
