Ingredients
Paneer-250gms
Butter-1tbsp
Ripe Tomato-5 medium size
Onion-2 medium
Cashew Nuts-15
Ginger-one small piece
Garlic-3 cloves
Kasuri methi-1tbsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder-1tbsp
Garsam Masala-1/4tsp
Cardamom powder-1/4tsp
Fresh Cream-3tbsp
Sugar-1tbsp
Honey-1tbsp
Salt-to taste
Water-2cup
Oil-1tbsp
Method
Heat oil in a kadai and add onion cubes , cashew nuts ,ginger and garlic ..
Saute for 5 minutes and then add tomato cubes and cook for another 10 minutes ..
Keep aside and allow to cool..
Grind well to fine puree and add water ,then strain ..
Heat butter and add this strained puree to this ..
Add roasted chilli powder, salt and mix well..
Close the quad,cook for 20 minutes in medium flame stirring occasionally ..
Add hot water if necessary ..
After 20 minutes the raw smell of the tomatoes won’t be there .
Then add cardamom powder,garam masala and crushed kauri methi along with sugar and honey ..
Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes ..Check the taste .. Add salt and sugar if needed (according to ur taste )..
Add paneer cubes and cook for 10 minutes …
Add fresh cream and mix well..
Cook for another 5 minutes ..Dont boil after adding cream..
Decorate with coriander leaves and serve with chapati,roti,nan etc…
Note : the amount of sugar ,honey cardamom powder can be add according to u..
if u r using frozen paneer ,then keep them in water for 30 minutes b4 adding to the gravy …
I didn’t use food colour here ,i got this bright orange colour coz of the kashmiri chilli powder and tomatoes ..
