Hello dear friends ..First post of 2015 ..Hope u had a great Christmas and New year .. here comes my weakness 😉 Vanilla Panna Cotta !!!
Double Cream or Thick Cream-300ml
Sugar-5tbsp or up to ur taste
Vannilla essence -1/4tsp
Plain Gelatine-1 1/2 tsp
Take 1/4 cup water and sprinkle gelatine and allow to sit for 10 minutes ..
Take a blender and add cream ,milk,sugar ,salt and vanilla essence ..
Give a blend ..
Take a deep bottomed pan and add this cream milk mixture ..
Heat and switch off just before boiling ..
Add soaked gelatine to this mix well ..
Give a taste test .. Sugar should be bit higher to ur taste ..(so when cooled it will be perfect )
Strain this mix and pour this to desired moulds and allow to reach room temperature ..
Then transfer to refrigerator and allow to set for minimum 6 hours or over night …
For the glaze ..
Open the passionfruit and take the pulp .. Try to purchase sour type passion fruit ..here i didn’t get that type ..So added 1/2 tsp of lemon juice to get that sweet tangy taste ..
To a pan add 1/2 cup of water ,fruit and sugar and allow to boil and allow to thicken .. Give a taste test ..
Keep aside and after reaching room temperature transfer to fridge ..
When the panna cotta is set serve with passion fruit glaze..
If u want to un mould ,dip the mould in hot water for second and then de mould …
So try this simple but yummy sexy Italian dessert … 🙂
