For the filling
Pressure cook finely chopped jackfruit pieces along with 1/2 cup of water(medium heat) ..3-4 whistle is needed
When cool open the cooker ,and add jaggery ,salt ,cardamom powder , coconut and mix well …
Cook till all r well combined together and no water left ..
Give a taste test ..Allow this filling to get cool ..
Now for the dough … Boil 1 1/2 glass of water by adding enough salt Pour this boiled water to the rice flour and mix well with a spoon or fork .
. Then close it for 5 minutes ,then knead with ur hand …
Now in a small piece of leaf ,place a lemon sized portion of dough in the top ..
Dip ur fingers in cold water and gently press the dough and fill the entire leaf with ur fingers …(by dipping ur fingers frequently in the water )
The layer should be very thin..
U can just wipe the access dough with ur fingers(i mean to say we need a very very nice layer in the leaf )
otherwise the ada will be more thick ..
Now place one spoon full of filling in the centre and spread evenly ..
Close the leaf gently by pressing both end of the leaf so that it will stick together ..
Do the same procedure for the remaining rest too. I gt 10 ada with this measurement ..
Now place this ada in a steamer and steam for at least 20 minutes ..
When cooked well ,u can see ada coming out from the leaf Serve this delicious chukka ada in a rainy day or sunny day 😉 we will def love it
