Water enough to mix the dough
Wash the spinach properly in salt water .
Steam them in a steamer or u can cook them in very little amount of water .
If u steaming them then when cool grind the leaves in a blender without adding water to a fine paste
Take a big bottom bowl and add the wheat flour,oil and salt .Mix them well
Now add this palak paste to the flour and knead well..Add if water needed to make soft dough..
Keep this dough in an air tight container for at least half an hour.
Now divide the dough into small balls ..
Dip each balls in flour and roll out into thin chapathi
Heat the non stick pan and place the chapathi..
Flip to other side after few seconds .Then again flip it back and press the chapathi using a clean cloth .It will puff up..Again turn and do the same .
If u want u can touch oil or ghee on both sides ..
(If u want to cook the spinach in water ,then take very little water and after cooking the spinach dont throw the water .u can this water while kneading the dough )
So the tasty and healthy spinach chapathi is ready to be served..

Chop the spinach finely and pressure cook it adding 1/4cup of water..One whistle is enough ..
When cooled strain the spinach and grind well …
Then mix the palak paste in mix in salt ,ghee or oil while kneading the semi hard dough.
If needed add the drained water used for cooking spinach ..
Keep the dough covered for 10-15 minutes with a wet cloth..
Now divide the dove into small balls and roll to disc shape..Deep fry in the hot oil..
So palak poori is ready to serve … Its a good combination with dal fry , pickle d subji
Spinach or paalak -1cup(chopped finely)
Grated Coconut-1/2 of 1 coconut
Shallots(small onion)_2 nos
Dry Red Chilly-2
Wash and drain the cheera (if u want u can use paalak instead of cheera) …
Chop cheera finely and keep that aside..
In a blender grind coconut and onion by adding little amount of water in to a fine thick paste.
Keep that also aside..Cook dal in a cooker along with turmeric powder ,chilly powder,salt and 11/2cup of water..
Mostly 2 whistle is enough ..After 5 minutes open the cooker and add the chopped paalak or cheera and cook for 2 minutes ..
Now pour the fine coconut paste to the cooked dal and palak mixture,mix well and bring to boil (If the curry is very thick u can add small amount of boiled water into the curry according to the consistency)
When start boiling remove from the fire ..(No need to boil much)..
Now heat oil in a pan and add chopped dry chilly and mustard seeds..
When it splutter pour this seasoning to the curry …
So now ur delicious dal -spinach curry is ready to serve …
Its really get along with chapathy,poori ,rice etc…
