Ingredients
Paneer cubes -200gm
Yoghurt-2cup
Chilly Powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder-1/2tbsp
Garam Masala-2 pinch
Ginger-Garlic Paste-1tbsp
Salt-
Capsicum-1/2 (cubes)
Tomato-1(cubes)
Big Onion-1/2(cubes)
Red Food colour-a pinch (opt)
Chat Masala-2 pinch
Cumin Powder-2 pinch
Kasuri methi(dried methi leaves)-2pinch
Water-
Coriander leaves-for garnishing
Method
Strain the yoghurt using a muslin cloth .(Pour yoghurt in the cloth ,wrap it and hang it until all the water get strained ..)Keep aside.
For the marination make a paste by adding yoghurt ,chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala,ginger garlic paste ,food colour and salt.Mix well using a fork..
Marinate paneer cubes using this paste ..Keep it for minimum 1 hour .
Then heat oil in a nonstick tawa and place marinated paneer one by one ..fry both sides in medium heat ..and keep in a kitchen tissue ..
And after all the paneer are done u can see some leftover marinade there ..dont throw it away ..we need that paste for making masala ..
Now heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non stick pan and add our vegetables ..Saute for one minute
Then add salt,garam masala and cumin powder kasuri methi ,and chaat masala..Mix well..
Now its time to add the paste ,mix well.Add someΒ hot water to get a gravy .or u can add milk instead of water.Check the salt.
Then add our fried paneer to this and allow to cook in this masala gravy for 2 minutes ..Finally garnish with coriander leaves
If u like ur dish to be bit sweet ,don`t hesitate to add a small portion of sugar too π
