Ingredients
Soya Chunks-100gms
Baby Corn-100gms
Big onion-1(cubes)
Capsicum-1/2 of one
Ginger chopped finely-1tbsp
Garlic finely chopped-1tbsp
Spring onion-1tbsp
Salt-to taste
Vinegar-1tsp
Sugar-1/4tsp
Sweet and Sour sauce or tomato ketchup-2tbsp
Soya Sauce-3tbsp
Chilli paste -1tsp
Water-1cup
For marination
Egg-1
All purpose Flour-3tbsp
Cornflour-2tbsp
Soya sauce-1tbsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Salt -to taste
Water-
Method
Mix all the ingredients for marination and make a thick batter ..
Marinate both soya and baby corn for 30 minutes .. If u want u can marinate them separately ..
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry these two in medium heat..
Remove from the oil and keep aside in kitchen tissue ..
Take another kadai and heat 1 tbsp of oil..
To this add ginger and garlic and sauté for 30 seconds in medium heat .
Then add onion and capsicum cubes ..
Saute for 1 minutes then add all the sauces,sugar ,vinegar and salt ..
Mix well.. Add water and allow to boil …Check the sauce and adjust accordingly if something is lacking …
Then add fried soya and corn and mix well .. Cook for 2 minutes ,let them absorb the sauce..
Garnish with chopped spring onion ..and serve hot …
U can use this crispy manchurian as a starter or side dish to fried rice ,naan,chatty etc …
