Ingredients

Chukku/Dry ginger-one medium piece or 1 tsp powder

Pepper powder/kurumulaku podi-1tsp

Water/vellam-3cup

Dry Thulasi ila/basil -1tsp

or fresh thulasi-4-5

Jeeraka podi/cumin powder-1/4 tsp

Coffee powder/kappi podi or tea /chaya podi-1 tsp

Jaggery/sharkkara or chkkara-1 big piece or according to u

Method

In a saucepan add water,jaggery,cumin powder,pepper powder ,coffee powder ,basil ,chukka podi and mix well..

Boil this for 5 to 10 minutes in medium flame..

Close the pan for 5 minutes and then strain the coffee ..

Drink hot chukka kappi and inhale the steam …

 

note : some people used to put garlic d mall ..but my amma used to do like this 🙂
