Big Onion-1 small
Ginger-1/2 tsp chopped
Green Chilli-1 or 2 depending up of the spice level
Curry leaves -1 string
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Mustard seeds-2 pinch
Dry red chilli-1
Urad dal-one pinch
Peel and cut potatoes to medium pieces ..
Pressure cook them along with turmeric powder,green chilli,big onion slices,salt and water ..
Two whistle is enough ..
Heat oil in kadai ,splutter mustard seeds ,urad dal,dry red chilli and curry leaves in low flame
To this add cooked potato and allow to boil for 10 minutes in medium flame or until the raw smell goes …..
Check the salt ….. Ur potato masala is ready with in no time 🙂
Note :Some times i used to add very small of toor dal along with potato.. If u want u can boil well and reduce whole water and make it as potato filling in masala dosa 😉 and can add 1/4 portion of tomato also ..
