Ingredients
Custard powder-155gm
Powdered Sugar/Icing sugar-200gm
Maida-300gm
Soft Butter-250gm
Egg-1
Salt-one pinch
Method
Preheat the oven to 160˚C.
Cream the butter and icing sugar (powdered sugar)together ,add vanilla essence ..
Beat egg with a fork then add to butter-sugar mixture and combine well..
To that add dry ingredients and combine and make a soft dough .
Don’t knead the dough l..just mix everything softly..
Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a baking tray.
Press the balls down with a fork.
If u want u can roll the small balls in caster sugar and then press with fork
Bake for approximately 10 to 15 minutes until light brown.
Allow to sit in the baking tray for another 10 minutes ..
Then transfer into a wire rack and allow to cool.. Then transfer to a air tight container and enjoy ur delicious cookies 🙂
Adopted this recipe from vah chef ..but when i used his measurements my dough was bit loose ,so made some changes in the amount
