Ingredients
Cooked banana Flower-1cup
Onion-1 medium
Potato-one medium size
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Ginger chopped-1 tsp
Green chilli-2 finely chopped
Curry leaves-1 string finely chopped
Pepper powder-1/2tsp
Salt-to taste
Garam Masala-1/4tsp
Fennel Powder-one pinch
Mustard seeds-1/4tsp
Bread Crumbs-to roll
Egg-2
Oil-to fry
Method
Remove the outer two layers of kudappan ..
Then finely chop them and add into salt water ..
Wash them well and strain ..
Cook this by adding very little amount of water and salt .. (u can cook in cooker also )
Allow the cooked kudappan to cool ..
Boil potato and mash them well..
Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds ..
Then add finely chopped onion,ginger ,green chilli,salt and curry leaves ..
When it became light golden colour ,add garam masala ,turmeric powder,fennel powder and pepper powder ..
When the raw smell goes add mashed potato and cooked kudappan..
Mix them well .. Check the taste ..Cook till all the water gets evaporate ..
Then allow it to cool… If u feel watery u can add breadcrumbs into it and make the right consistency …
Beat one egg and keep it aside
Make small balls out of the cutlet mix ..flatten each of them with the help of ur palm and dip in the egg mix and roll in the breadcrumbs.. or u can make any desired shapes
Heat oil and when the oil is medium heat fry them both sides ..
Even u can shallow fry or bake these yummy cutlets ..
Serve with ketchup
