Ingredients

Chicken -1kg

Ginger -2tsp( chopped finely)

Green chilly-4(slits)

Big onion-1 big (diced)

Capsicum-1 (diced)

Chilly sauce -2tsp

Soya Sauce-3Tbsp

Tomato sauce-2tsp

Salt -to taste

Oil -for frying

For batter

Maida -3Tbsp

Corn Flour -4Tbsp

Soya souce-2tsp

Pepper powder-1/2tsp

Ginger paste -2tsp

Kashmiri chilly powder-1/2tsp

Salt -to taste

Water-3Tbsp

 

 

 

 

Method

Cut the chicken into small pieces..Clean and wash them with salt and vinegar ..

Make a fine batter (by using above mentioned ingredients)

Add the chicken pieces into batter and keep in the refrigerator for half an hour(if u r in a hurry then avoid keeping in the fridge ,they can just dip the chicken in the batter and fry) 🙂

Heat oil in a kadai

Deep fry the chicken pieces.Keep them aside

In another pan heat 1Tbsp of oil

Add onion and saute them until it become translucent

Then add green chilly and ginger.Saute for 2 minutes .

Then add 1 Tbsp of soya sauce , 1 tsp of chilly sauce and 1 tsp of tomato sauce

Mix them well .Add the fried chicken pieces into the onion and mix well ..Now add the capsicum..If needed add salt ..Stir well and close the pan with a lid and cook for 20 min in low flame .

Now add the balance amount of soya sauce ,chilly sauce and tomato sauce .Mix well .Close the pan for few more minutes.

Transfer to a serving plate .Serve with fried rice ,noodles,bread etc

Note

if u want gravy then add 11/2tsp of corn flour into 2 cup of water , mix well.Pour in to the dry chicken and stir well ..Cook for 5 more minutes ..If u want u can add soya sauce also..Check the salt ..

  4. ohh ic…for gravy add 11/2tsp of cornflour into 2 cup of water and mix well ..Then add this water to the dry ginger chicken and cook for more than 5 minutes.By that time u will get a thick gravy.If u want to can add more soya sauce also
