    Nice steamed coconut dishes…loved the sweeter version…as I love sweets 😉 This dish is made more or less the same way, in konkani its called patholi…and we use turmeric leaves instead of banana leaves. and steam it..am amazed at the similarites that Konkani and Kerala cuisines have! superb! Great recipes veena, will keep a track of the adaas you’ll post 🙂 nice snaps.

  2. Wow Veena, this has come out really well… Simple dish and an authentic way of doing it… Now tell me this What rice did you use?? I know parboiled rice flour will harden, will Boiled rice do good???

  3. Fantastic recipe, I think there is a similar recipe in tamil nadu as well. They prepare it during “ganpati” festival, “ganesh chaturthi”. I don’t know the name, but it is yum. Yum yum yum.
